Lil Wayne & Juelz Santana - My Face Can't Be Felt

Will the long awaited collab from Weezy and Juelz, "I Can't Feel My Face," ever be released? This is the question that I keep hearing. My answer is always this: It will come out before "Detox" does. (Cuz "Detox" is NEVER coming out.)

So what we have here is a really great mixtape with Lil Wayne and Juelz Santana.
Wayne has, thankfully, stepped away from the rock stuff he's been doing to return to hip hop. You know, the music that made him rich and famous. And it seems that he's actually making an effort on his rhymes now. (Instead of giggling for eight bars) Either that or Gillie is ghostwriting for him again.

Juelz is still doing Juelz. How much coke did he really sell in his life anyway? But he's still the best MC that the Diplomats have. (Although, I have been really impressed by Cam's new mixtapes. More on that later.)

The first track, "Rock Hard," well, rocks. Hard. "I'm From the South" is a Wayne solo track and probably one of the best track he's released in a while.

"I Am the Club" features Santana's newly formed Skull Gang and is a pretty good club banger with a New York feel.

Overall, this is a great mixtape. And while it clocks in at 25 tracks, just be aware that many of the songs are under 2 minutes. But until "I Can't Feel My Face" is released we're just gonna have to be happy with mixtape collabs from Weezy and Juelz. And this is a good start.
